Design/EDA Methodology Reviews and Audits

  • Step1: detailed analysis of your design methodology by LLT Design.

This phase will involve review of documentation like quality books, process documents, job definitions, design and verification guidelines. LLT Design will access to your best practices and/or lessons learnt. LLT Design will analyze available design metrics . LLT Design will review design flows and will interview your managers and designers in the team to get better visibility on their real practice.

 

  • Step 2: The above data will be compiled into a SWOT Strength Weakness Opportunities and Threat analysis regarding your design methodology . You will critique review this SWOT with LLT Design and the outcome will be an agreed upon SWOT document that can drive Step 3 corective actions.

 

  • Step 3: LLT Design will provide recommendations to secure strong methodology items and corrective actions or improvement programs to correct weaknesses. This set of recommendations will be critiqued and reviewed with your participation .

Methodology Improvement Programs

  • LLT Design will follow up the agreed upon methodology corrective actions and/or improvement programs. This will be achieved through periodic reviews including regular visits for reviewing progress and problems and driving to successful implementation of  your design methodology improvements.

Assistance in development strategies and programs definition - Ad hoc consulting

  • LLT Design will provide assistance in development strategies and programs definitions or ad hoc consulting services (board meetings, audits, reviews, lectures, trainings, working sessions, etc..) on specific topics related to  SC design process and methodology. This may involve third party participation for specific fields of expertize like technology/librairies, EDA tools, system integration, IP create, Verification and Validation, etc..
